Burial & Cremation Services

Regulation of grave space acquisition, cremation, exportation of human remains, exhumation, pauper burials and mass burials.

  • Cremation – application letter, embalmment certificate, membership proof, passport copy if foreign national
  • Exportation of human ash or body – application letter, cause of death, embalmment certificate, passport copy (if foreign)
  • Exhumation – application letter, court order, copy of burial permit, death certificate, payment of fees
  • Pauper/unclaimed bodies – police or coroner’s certificate required, reported to police
  • Mass burial – application letter addressed to the Director
