Representation of the Ashanti Regional Minister at the Presidential Initiative on Coconut Development Training Programme

The Municipal Chief Executive had the distinguished honour of representing the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, at the Presidential Initiative on Coconut Development (PICD) training and capacity-building programme organized for coconut farmers at the Prempeh Assembly Hall.
The programme forms part of the Government’s strategic efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector through knowledge enhancement, technical support, and improved production practices. It provided a valuable platform for farmers to acquire modern skills and insights aimed at increasing productivity, enhancing value addition, and promoting sustainable coconut cultivation.
This initiative underscores Government’s unwavering commitment to empowering farmers, boosting agricultural productivity, and advancing rural economic development. The Municipal Assembly remains aligned with this vision and continues to support programmes that enhance livelihoods and strengthen the agricultural value chain within the Municipality.
