MCE Residential Building Commissioned, Peace Pact Signed Ahead of Elections

The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly has commissioned an ultra-modern residential building for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The commissioning ceremony was held in the municipality and drew the participation of key dignitaries and stakeholders.

Present at the event were the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah; Chief Nana Ansah Debrah; parliamentary candidates from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC); and various stakeholders from across the municipality.

As part of the day’s activities, political parties also signed a peace pact ahead of the upcoming elections. The peace pact is aimed at fostering unity and ensuring a peaceful electoral process within the municipality.

Chief Nana Ansah Debrah used the occasion to commend the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kennedy Kwasi Kankam, and his management team for their dedication and hard work over the past three years in office.

The event highlighted both the Assembly’s commitment to strengthening governance infrastructure and the collective desire of political stakeholders to maintain peace during the election period.
