Asokore Mampong Municipality Showcases Investment Opportunities to International Delegation

On Monday, the Municipal Chief Executive had the distinct honour of presenting the vast investment opportunities within the Asokore Mampong Municipality to a distinguished delegation from Southern University, Baton Rouge, United States of America.

The engagement formed part of the Municipality's strategic efforts to attract local and international investment, foster sustainable partnerships, and promote inclusive socio-economic development. During the presentation, the Municipal Chief Executive highlighted Asokore Mampong's strategic location within the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area and its proximity to the expanding Prempeh I International Airport, positioning the Municipality as an emerging hub for investment and economic growth.

The delegation was introduced to the Municipality's key investment prospects across several priority sectors, including real estate and affordable housing, industrial manufacturing, transport and logistics, healthcare, education, tourism, electric mobility (e-mobility), and integrated waste management.
Discussions also explored opportunities for long-term collaboration, including the proposed Sister City Partnership between Asokore Mampong and Baton Rouge. The proposed partnership is expected to strengthen cooperation in education, innovation, technology transfer, cultural exchange, and economic development for the mutual benefit of both communities.

The Municipal Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling environment for investment through effective governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder collaboration. Asokore Mampong remains open to meaningful partnerships that will accelerate sustainable development, create employment opportunities, and improve the quality of life of its residents.
