Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly Provides Relief Support to Fire Victims
On Tuesday, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ben Abdallah Alhassan, together with the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), led the distribution of relief items to victims of recent fire incidents within the Asokore Mampong Municipality.
The intervention forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to providing timely support to residents affected by disasters and assisting affected families as they begin the difficult process of recovery and rebuilding.

The Municipal Chief Executive expressed profound sympathy to all families who suffered losses, acknowledging the significant challenges they currently face. While the relief items cannot replace the homes, belongings, and properties lost to the fires, they are intended to provide immediate assistance and help alleviate some of the hardships confronting the affected families.

The MCE commended NADMO, the Assembly’s relevant departments, community leaders, and other stakeholders whose collective efforts facilitated the intervention. He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and response mechanisms while ensuring that vulnerable residents receive the necessary support during times of crisis.
The Assembly extends its solidarity to all affected families and wishes them strength, comfort, and the resources necessary to rebuild their lives.
Together, we remain committed to supporting our people and building a resilient Asokore Mampong Municipality.
