Adukrom AstroTurf Project Site Officially Handed Over for Construction

Yesterday, the Municipal Chief Executive joined the Municipal Coordinating Director, traditional authorities, religious leaders, and members of the Adukrom community for the official handing-over of the Adukrom Park project site to Excel Fortune Construction Limited for the construction of a modern AstroTurf facility.

The ceremony marked another significant milestone in the Municipality’s efforts to expand quality sporting infrastructure and promote youth development. The project reflects Government’s continued commitment to improving recreational facilities, nurturing sporting talent, and creating safe and inclusive spaces that foster community engagement and social cohesion.

With the commencement of this project, Asokore Mampong Municipality records its fifth AstroTurf facility to be initiated within the past fifteen months, underscoring the Assembly’s dedication to enhancing sports development and investing in the well-being of its young people.

Upon completion, the modern AstroTurf facility will provide a safe and conducive environment for sporting activities, support grassroots talent development, encourage healthy lifestyles, and serve as a vibrant centre for community recreation and social interaction.

The Municipal Chief Executive expressed confidence in Excel Fortune Construction Limited, citing the contractor’s proven record of delivering projects within scheduled timelines. He therefore appealed to traditional authorities, community leaders, and residents of Adukrom to extend their full cooperation and support to facilitate the timely and successful completion of the project.

The Assembly also expressed its sincere appreciation to the Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency and Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, for his continued support and commitment to the socio-economic development of the Municipality.
